Let’s dive in 👇
Why Your New SKU Gets Clicks… Then Flatlines

Your new SKU didn’t fail because the product is weak.
It failed because Amazon got the wrong signal early.
Here is what that looks like in established accounts:
Clicks come in.
Spend looks normal.
ACoS looks “fine.”
CTR is decent.
But the SKU never stabilizes.
No rank movement.
No repeatable sales.
No momentum.
After 30 to 60 days it becomes a permanent budget leak.
Why This Hits Mature Sellers Harder
The bigger your catalog, the worse this gets.
Because Amazon already has proven options to show:
your hero SKUs
competitors with stronger history
variations that convert more consistently
So Amazon treats your new SKU like a risk.
And most sellers unknowingly prove Amazon right by blasting it with broad traffic too early.
Conversion drops.
CPC rises.
Momentum dies.
The Fix: A 30-Day Launch Isolation Window
If you want new SKUs to win, stop launching them inside your existing campaign structure.
That is the fatal mistake we see in mature accounts.
It blends the data, hides the truth, and makes weak launches “busy” instead of profitable.
For the first 21 to 30 days, your goal is not scale. Your goal is signal.
Clean conversion history from high-intent traffic.
The Launch Ladder That Works
1. Start with Tier 1 Exact (5 to 10 terms)
Not your highest volume keywords.
Your highest intent keywords.
Exact match only.
If Tier 1 cannot convert, broad will not save you.
2. Delay phrase and broad until the SKU earns it
Phrase and broad are not growth.
They are expansion.
And expansion traffic is less forgiving.
3. Do not buy Top of Search in week 1
Top of Search is not a reward. It is a multiplier.
If your conversion is not already strong, Top of Search amplifies the damage.
Start cheaper. Prove conversion. Then scale placements.
4. Keep brand traffic separate
Brand traffic makes new SKUs look better than they are.
It hides problems and steals sales from hero products.
Brand defense should be controlled and isolated.
5. Make a Day 30 decision
Most sellers let launches bleed for months.
By day 30, your SKU should show at least one of these:
rank movement on Tier 1 terms
improving conversion week over week
stable CPC at steady volume
If not, stop feeding it.
At that point, the fix is usually on the listing side: offer positioning, images, price architecture, variation strategy, or review velocity.
Not more ads.
Stop Paying the New SKU Tax
If you are spending $5,000+ per month on Amazon Ads, you almost certainly have at least one SKU quietly draining budget right now.
The worst part is that it looks normal inside the dashboard.
That is exactly what the 7-Day Ads Sprint is built to catch.
In 7 days, we will:
identify which SKUs are bleeding spend without earning rank
pinpoint where launch traffic is too broad, too early
show you the exact launch ladder to run instead
give you a clear cut/scale plan, so launches stop becoming permanent leaks
No rebuilds.
No keyword chaos.
No generic advice.
Just clarity, control, and a launch plan you can actually execute.
